Counting down to Dorking’s first Beer Festival

Just 11 days to go and still so much to do to for the Dorking Beer Festival, but most importantly 22 beers from 12 breweries now confirmed. Cider and perry sorted too with orders placed at Conisbee for delicious meaty burgers, scotch eggs and pies, alongside Norbury Park Cheese and Chalk Hills Bakery supplying their delicacies for the Surrey Snack boxes.

Beer list will be published on Thursday 8th May – plenty to get your tastebuds going. Look out for the surprise guest brewery, with a strong connection to Dorking so they can be part of the festival.

Great support from local breweries as well as pubs and retailers – look out for posters and banners through Dorking this week and tweet a photo @DorkingBeerX. Hoping that the very entertaining Boxhill Bedlam gang will be able to join us on the Saturday afternoon – fingers crossed for sunshine.

And then there’s the Scalextric Grand Prix, raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity. Big thank you to Tillingbourne Brewery for their management of this. They’re looking for any track and cars that you might have hiding in the loft, just get in touch with Lee direct on 01483 222228 if you have, he’s got some great ideas for layout.

Finally, following discussion with local parents children are now welcome (free) to the Saturday afternoon session (11-4pm) so why not make it a family visit?

Book your tickets here in advance to be sure of entry (number limited).
